On my photos the streets seem to be empty. Most of the time people are too fast for my photos. But from time to time there is a small hint that there are other people in the world. So I am able to discover their structures and traces.

This is an ICM Photo (intentional camera movement). The image is created – or not – in the moment of the shot. I do not salvage almost-perfect shots with Photoshop. All you see are effects that were created in the camera. (ICE – in camera effects). 

I print my photos on Hahnemühle fine art paper. It is almost like a hand-made „Büttenpapier“. It gives the pictures a soft look. Almost like pastel chalk.
